Stormy Weather

I love a dramatic skyline. It needn't be a silhouetted skyscraper or an illuminated bridge - nearly any 'ole street scene will do - as long as the sky behind it is powerful.

Dusk is my favorite time of day - past the pink skies of the setting sun, right as the last rays of daylight are richocheting off the atmosphere and the entire sky is a backlit silk scrim, bold and blue.

Add a layer of evacuating storm clouds, and you've got a scene that Edward Hopper would have loved.  I like it too.
