I can't remember the last time I made Easter Eggs.
When it was suggested this year that we attempt creating them the Ukranain way - drawing on raw eggs with hot wax
- I was intrigued, but thought I'd be more of an observer than an active participant... boy, was I wrong.
A total of 9+ hours later, and we've painstakingly patterned an even dozen of the spherical canvases, and some of them we're mighty proud of.
Good times, good times!
What pretty eggs! How could you possibly eat them? Maybe you can save the shells, somehow.

eat them? the white and yolk just dry up inside - no muss, no fuss.

in fact, the only inference to food while making these is the smell of your singed fingers as you melt the many wax layers off at the end... *wink*
