Stinson Beach.
Occasionally I come here for the little restaurants that front it's 200 yards of 'downtown'. More often I've come here as a starting point for hiking trails leading up Mount Tamalpaias.
This time, I was here to take a romantic stroll along the shore, to share champagne and watermelon, and to celebrate an anniversary, of sorts. And that's the best reason of all.
