The sun managed to peek through on Memorial Day, against the odds the rest of the weekend had laid down, and the bees were taking advantage of it. Not the honey bees this time, but the big, bodacious bumble bees. As they hovered like tiny hairy zepplins around the equally tiny, hairy borage flowers, I followed them around in wide-angle zoom, capturing images of their busy bumbling, and their pollen-laden saddlebags.
