It take some guts to paint on the front of your building.
I love that this combo bike-shop, metal-shop, who-knows-what-shop opted for a whimsical, playful array of bug-eyed goldfish on it's central mass form. The colors play nicely against the slightly sunfaded hardwood slats and the aluminum storefront. When I see whimsy like this, I just DIE of want to have overheard the design discussions preceeding the creation. Who decided on the artist? Who decided on fish?

Maybe there's more to building fish art than one would initially suspect, as it's apparently all the rage (by my random observation alone!)
